SaaS product development
Multi-tenant architecture, subscription billing, role-based access and admin tooling - the full commercial product, not a prototype.
Service
Multi-tenant SaaS platforms, internal tools and customer portals - architected for the load you will have in three years.
Overview
When spreadsheets, disconnected SaaS subscriptions and manual handoffs start costing more than they save, it is time to build the thing your business actually runs on.
Orange Orbits designs and builds custom platforms for US companies: SaaS products taken from idea to paying customers, internal operations tools that replace a dozen spreadsheets, and customer portals that cut support volume. We architect for the scale you will need, not the scale that makes a demo look good.
What is included
Multi-tenant architecture, subscription billing, role-based access and admin tooling - the full commercial product, not a prototype.
Self-service portals that let customers check status, pull documents and submit requests without opening a support ticket.
Purpose-built systems for scheduling, inventory, quoting, dispatch and approvals that match how your team already works.
REST and GraphQL APIs, webhook infrastructure and middleware that keeps your systems of record in agreement with each other.
Operational and executive dashboards built on your live data, so decisions stop waiting on someone exporting a CSV.
Document extraction, classification, search and assistant features built on Claude or OpenAI, scoped to a real business outcome.
Process
Same six stages on every engagement, scaled to the size of the project.
We learn the business before the software - goals, constraints, competitors, the people who will use it and what success is actually measured by.
Scope, architecture and a costed roadmap. You get documentation you own, whether or not you build it with us.
Wireframes to a full design system, tested with real users before anyone writes production code.
One-week sprints with a working demo at the end of each one. You see progress in software, not slide decks.
Load testing, security review, SEO migration checks and a rollback plan before anything goes live.
Post-launch measurement and iteration - because the version that launches is never the version that performs best.
Technology
Chosen for what your team can maintain, not for what is trending this quarter.

FAQ
Start with a paid discovery engagement - typically two to four weeks. It produces user flows, a technical architecture, a prioritized feature roadmap and a line-item cost estimate. You own that documentation and can take it to any development partner.
We usually recommend it. A focused MVP puts working software in front of real users in 10-16 weeks, which tells you more about product-market fit than another six months of planning. We architect the MVP so it extends rather than needing a rewrite.
Most clients move to a dedicated-team arrangement - a fixed monthly cost for an agreed number of engineers. It is predictable for budgeting and it keeps the people who built the system working on it.
We build to HIPAA, SOC 2 and PCI DSS requirements regularly, including audit logging, encryption at rest and in transit, access controls and data retention policies. We work alongside your compliance auditor rather than replacing them.
