Agreement to these terms

By accessing https://www.orangeorbits.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms govern website use only; services we deliver are governed by a separate signed agreement, which takes precedence in any conflict.

Use of the site

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure, introduce malicious code, scrape content at a rate that degrades service for others, or use any content here to train a commercial machine-learning model without our written permission.

Intellectual property

All content on this site - text, design, code, graphics and the Orange Orbits name and logo - is owned by Orange Orbits or licensed to us, and is protected by US and international copyright and trademark law. Third-party technology logos shown on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only; their appearance does not imply endorsement or partnership unless stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without written permission, other than brief quotation with attribution and a link.

Client work and ownership

Under our standard services agreement, on full payment the client owns all deliverables created specifically for them, including source code, design files and documentation. We retain ownership of pre-existing tools, libraries and general know-how, and grant a perpetual licence to use them as embedded in the deliverables.

Quotes and estimates

Pricing shown on this site is indicative and provided for orientation. It is not an offer. Binding pricing is provided only in a written proposal following a scoping conversation, and is valid for the period stated in that proposal.

Our total aggregate liability arising from your use of this site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Liability arising from contracted services is governed by the applicable services agreement.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Orange Orbits, its officers and employees from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alberta, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alberta, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version here. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
